This Saturday Bulli Harness Racing Club in NSW will host two terrific Group 2 pacing events, the Fillies and then the Colts & Geldings $50, 000 finals for the Linden Huntley Little Memorial.
The 2010 Fillies Linden Huntley Little Memorial Final sees ten top two-year-old fillies looking to secure a coveted Group 2 win in what is sure to be a hotly contested affair.
Drawn ideally in barrier two is the unbeaten Mixed Media. Trained by Matthew Harris, Mixed Media has won all three of her career starts and is stepping up to the Group status for the first time here. Her impressive record and brilliant barrier draw should see her starting as one of the favourites on Saturday night.
Mixed Media faces a competitive field that includes the likes of the consistent Peter Rixon trained and driven Bobbi Grace, also drawn perfectly with the prized barrier one.
Drawn wide in barrier ten is the daughter of Art Major, Sheezallattitude. Another consistent pacer having won two of her three career starts and placed second in the other, the barrier draw may be her downside on Saturday.
In barrier seven is Bella Shine having just her second career start after winning on debut while last start winner, Peter Salathiel’s Giggling Girl will also line up in the back row in barrier nine.
The 2010 Colts & Geldings Linden Huntley Little Memorial final will be another fantastic race, featuring ten promising young pacers.
Four of the field are having just their second career start, including the Jarrod Alchin trained Charlie Harper in barrier two who won their maiden race and is looking to maintain their unbeaten record.
Also lining up are the super reliable Warrior Stride and Conforming in barriers five and six respectively. Both two-year-olds have had only two race starts, but have performed well winning won and placing second in the other.
Dee Devito, barrier four, is another last start winner to keep an eye on.
The other feature pacing event over the weekend will be the Listed $25, 000 Charlton Cup in Victoria.
The Fillies final will run as race five at 8:15pm (NSW time), followed by the Colts & Geldings final at 9:15pm as race seven on the night’s great nine-event card.
