MHRC Victoria Sires Classic Preview & Final Field

Tabcorp Park, Melton is set to host a huge night of harness features this Friday, headlined by the Group 1 SEW-Eurodrive Victoria Cup. The other major pacing event of the night is the $40 000 Group 3 MHRC Victoria Sires Classic (2240m).

Many eager spectators will be there to see the hugely popular pacer Two Eye See. Trained by Mark Hewitt, the horse suffered an injury shortly after his birth that left him with use of only one eye, not that that has stopped him. The gelding has reached a cult-like status with his own facebook page and is known across the country as the ‘One-Eyed Wonder.’

Aiming for his first race win as a three-year-old, the inspirational pacer will come up against some tough competition on Friday night including Palais Du Lourve, the former juvenile champ starting from the front, inside barrier.

The Victoria Sires Classic is scheduled as race five on Tabcorp Park’s massive 10-race card on Friday night due to commence at 8:10pm (VIC time).
